Join us in delivering a more personal kind of primary care.
At Eventide Health, we believe healthcare should feel exceptional, personal, and deeply connected to the community it serves. Eventide Health is a direct primary care clinic in Friday Harbor, Washington that welcomes patients of all ages and backgrounds. Led by Stanford-trained family physician Dr. Stacie Vilendrer, our model emphasizes evidence-based, holistic care to support long, flourishing lives.
We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant–Phlebotomist (MA-P) to primarily support on-site phlebotomy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient interaction, values precision and efficiency, and wants to be part of a small, mission-driven clinical team.
About the team + role
Eventide Health follows the direct primary care model, in which patients pay a monthly membership fee for enhanced access, continuity, and relationship-based care. The clinic operates in person Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with virtual care available seven days a week.
As an MA-P at Eventide Health, you will play a key role in supporting high-quality, efficient care delivery—primarily through performing blood draws and managing specimen handling. You will work closely with the clinical care team to create a seamless and welcoming patient experience. Patients are scheduled blood draws in advance of the designated phlebotomy days, which are 1-2 days per week.
This role is based in Friday Harbor, WA, a 2-minute walk from the ferry landing – commuters welcome to apply.

We are seeking a part-time Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) to join our team in a predominantly in-person capacity, covering clinical care Thursdays, Fridays, and additional time spent in-person and at-home depending on candidate availability and clinic needs. We are especially interested in candidates who are excited by relationship-based care, small-town community medicine, and the opportunity to practice thoughtfully in a growing direct primary care model. Candidates with osteopathic, geriatric, functional medicine, and/or aesthetics training are particularly encouraged to apply.
About the team + role
Eventide Health follows the direct primary care model in which patients pay a monthly membership fee to access our primary care services built around access, continuity and trust. The clinic is open for in-person appointments Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and is available virtually to members seven days a week. Physicians typically see 5-10 patients per clinic day in person in half hour appointments with additional time designated to address same-day virtual care needs. The clinic also gives back to its community through its partnership with a local non-profit organization to support high-need patients on a charitable basis.
As a physician at Eventide Health, you will provide full-spectrum outpatient family medicine in a setting designed to support meaningful patient relationships and the delivery of timely, evidence-based care. As a small practice, we also have the latitude to expand services and are interested in exploring how YOUR clinical passions may serve our community. This is an ideal opportunity for a physician who values autonomy, creativity, and a sustainable pace of practice.
This role is based in Friday Harbor, WA, a 2-minute walk from the ferry landing. Commuters from neighboring areas are encouraged to apply. In-person clinical care is anticipated Thursdays, Fridays and additional time spent in-person and at-home depending on candidate availability and clinic needs.
